June 18, 2013- Last day of {3 year old} preschool.  This picture sums up how the whole day went.  It was a tough day!  I told my mom, "Avery is going to put me in early labor."  Maybe Avery knew it would be her last day as an only child....

Rewind 9 months {March 2013}

Ok, here goes...  I'm gonna do it. The idea of catching up on the blog has been taunting me.  It's been on my to-do list for 9 months, but I keep putting it at the bottom.  I'm gonna do it now because we have had some remarkable events happen on our lives ;) that I'd like to share.  In order to wrap my brain around the catching up process, I'm going to capture highlights of each month- starting with a family trip to Kauai and Easter in March.

An emotional roller coater.

Avery loves the roller coaster at Disneyland's Toon Town.  Sean and I always get a kick out of her face as she goes up, speeds down and takes each turn.  This time we decided to take some photos.  

Pretty priceless if you ask me....

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

So, this year we decided to get a little creative (actually copy my friend, Kristin's cute ideas) with this whimsical holiday.  Our leprechaun wasn't as mischievous as he was friendly.

He left Lucky Charms, a big treat in our home and a shamrock wand.

A rainbow of streamers was left at Avery's bedroom door with a pile of golden coins at the end.

Mini cauldrons filled with golden coins were sure markers of where he'd been.... amongst other things

She got a kick out of this one. Gross, Mommy, he didn't flush.

These lasted 5 minutes.  Marshmallows went first. Standard.

He even brought green bagels and cream cheese for breakfast.

A rainbow cupcake topped with a green chocolate shamrock finished the day.
