Holiday Fun

We had the opportunity to watch the Dana Point boat parade from a friend's boat. It was fun to get all bundled up and cozy. Avery loved watching all the decorated boats float by. What a good time with good friends!

We also visited Roger's Gardens in Newport Beach. It is a fantastic nursery that goes all out for Christmas with tons of lights and decorations. It's fun to grab a coffee or hot chocolate and meander.

Wrong way, baby girl...

I love Christmas Traditions

Every year, my family (Bonner's) has a Christmas Eve tradition of opening up one Christmas gift (new jammies) before our traditional Christmas Eve dinner of prime rib, Yorkshire pudding, creamed spinach and jello salad. So yummy! We would get all cozy in our new jammies and eat this delicious dinn-dinn.

This year, Mimi and Papa started the tradition of new jammies with Avery. She got to have them a little early so we could enjoy our little munchkin in her new Christmas jammies all season.

These are a Few of My Favorite Things....

Avery & her buddy, Stanley

"If You're Happy and You Know It"

So... Avery has been smiling and giggling so much. It has been so fun. Every time we get the camera out, she stops smiling and just stares at it. I secretly captured the giggles as she and daddy were having fun together on Thanksgiving Day.

Guess which picture she realized that there was a camera in her face?

Panda Bear, Panda Bear, what do you see?

I see a little girl smiling at me.

My sister, Kristi made an adorable mobile for Avery. We hung it above her changing table and she just loves it. It puts an instant smile on her face when she's in a good mood and even when she's in a not-so-good mood. She has even started talking to her pandas with squeals, screams, oohs and aahs. It's definitely Avery's happy place!

Thank you, Auntie Kristi!

October was a month of "firsts"

We went on our first family mini vacation to Palm Desert for a couple days and decided to go on the Aerial Tramway. All the years we've been visiting Palm Desert we've never done it. It was a great time. There are a couple restaurants and a bar up there, some hiking trails for all levels from beginning level with short little hikes to advanced level with half day hikes. It's a nice break from the desert heat. I'd definitely recommend taking a trip to the top of the San Jacinto mountains!

We took our first trip to the Tanaka Farm pumpkin patch with Avery. At this point, I think it was mostly for mom and dad, but nonetheless we had a fun time.

Our little Halloween strawberry.... I couldn't resist this costume. She was a very good sport :)

26 Weeks and Counting...

Things are moving right along... I'm feeling the baby move everyday, Sean gets to feel the baby, too!!! and he's loves to give him/her* kisses every morning and night, and we had fun registering for all the new baby stuff (Daddy got really into picking the stroller).

*We decided to wait and find out what our little one is going to be. Any guesses?

20 Weeks and Counting...

... and I've finally joined the blogosphere... thanks to Kristi and Kelly.

Here is a picture of me at 20 weeks along. We can't wait to meet our little one who is due on August 8th. So far my pregnancy has been great. Nothing to complain of, just a bit more tired.

Stay tuned...
