Our first camping trip of the year was spent at Doheny with the Platt family. It was just one night but a fun-filled one indeed! Some of our fun included-

riding bikes,

building a campfire,

eating s'mores,

cozing up by the campfire,

hanging with Helen,

still building a campfire,

having snacks in the pop-up trailer,

C'mon, give him a break.  He puts fires out.

montecito.

Back in April (I know), our family had the opportunity to visit some dear friends in Montecito. Friends who rented a breathtaking mansion and opened it up to their children, grandchildren and us to enjoy for a few days! Well, enjoyed it, we did!! Not only was it a fun get-away for our family, but we got to hang out with our friends who we don't get to see often enough. Here are some snip-its of our fun. lots of jumping... lots of swimming... rented surreys on East Beach... beach day at Leadbetter Beach... the crew that made it possible... thank you! hitching a ride to dinner in downtown Montecito... taking a stroll in the Santa Barbara Zoo... gorillas at the Santa Barbara Zoo... gelato.... We can wait to visit Montecito again!
